“While the theme of my work is obviously marine in subject, the influence of color and the simplicity of composition are apparent. I essentially seek to find a poetic balance using all the visual elements possible within a given circumstance. With this balance, along with the quality of light, I attempt to express a closeness to the subject that defines its’ intrinsic visibility.”
